Geula, founder and director of Los Angeles Ulpan, was born in Israel and educated in Israel and the U.S. For many years she taught high-school Hebrew and Tanach (Bible) in Israel. Since 2014, Geula has been teaching a Tanach class to an expanding group of women.  A master teacher, she was trained in the ulpan method and applies creative and fun tools to make classes effective and enjoyable. She is passionately dedicated to passing on her love of Hebrew to her students.
